(Okay, this post is late – really late – but bear with me. I’ve been transitioning to a new job (and a new lifestyle) and still getting the groove to blog more consistently.)
The last Vancouver SEM Meetup (Nov 17th) was about Bing.com. James Laitinen from the International Internet Marketing Association (IIMA) presented a very insightful point of view on what could happen with this relatively new search engine.
First of all, thank you James for the great presentation and the participation bonuses – beers! Let’s not thank Microsoft for not sending the cool bing material that they had promised. I guess James will have to ask again, this time no more Mr. Nice Guy.
I’ve uploaded some pictures here.
Also on our last meetup, we took the opportunity to introduce the Vancouver SEM Ning community created by a local SEO, Ani Lopez. Just like we use Meetup to gather offline, we want to encourage people to ask and answer questions, share their stories and connect online through this community.
Next Meetup is going to be the Meetup of Meetups – I highly recommend it. Here are the details.
Cheers! Jose
