I’m on the plane on my way back to Vancouver from the Google Seminars for Success in Atlanta.
The crowd in the Google Analytics 101 and 201 was great. Good questions, lots of nodding in approval, comments about the presented material was a good sign indicating that the audience was engaged. There is always the few who have a an expectation mismatch – sometimes the session is too basic, sometimes too tough – but all in all, it was a great crowd.
The one thing that impressed me about Atlanta above all, however, was the people’s friendliness. From the airport to the hotel and back, everyone was genuinely friendly. But not the kind of friendliness that comes across as too shallow or hypocritical or too much that was suffocating. Just very natural friendliness.
So thank you, Atlanta.
